Capacity Management
Planning and implementation required to meet the likely future network
load:
- Analysing historical network capacity trend data to identify where network capacity is exceeded and advise if changes to existing bandwidths are required
- Performing capacity modelling using network management tools to forecast likely capacity demand
- Developing capacity plans to ensure that the data network operates in accord with reasonable strategic requirements as advised
- Understanding business needs and requirements and advising the service provider if changes will be required to support future needs
